About Me

Surgeon Dr. Emrah TOPBAŞ was born in 1982 in Ilgın, a district of Konya. He completed his primary education at Ahmet-Perihan Demirok Primary School and his secondary education at Meram Anatolian High School, formerly known as Konya Maarif College. He graduated from Selçuk University Meram Faculty of Medicine in 2006 and received his Urology Specialist title in 2012.

As part of his compulsory state service, Dr. Emrah Topbaş was appointed to Kırıkkale High Specialization Hospital, where he served between 2012 and 2016. During this period, he received numerous certificates of appreciation and successfully performed advanced surgeries such as Radical Cystectomy and Ileal Loop Neobladder—a first for secondary-level healthcare institutions in Turkey. In 2015, he was honored with the “Physician of the Year” award by the Ministry of Health based on nationwide evaluations.

A member of the Turkish Medical Association (TTB),Dr. Topbaş also held administrative roles at the Kırıkkale Chamber of Medicine for two terms.

Between 2016 and 2024, he worked at Kırıkkale Private Yaşam Hospital, and between 2024 and 2025, at Ankara Private Natomed Hospital. As of 2025, he continues to see patients in his private clinic, while also performing surgeries at contracted private hospitals.

Dr. Topbaş adopts a holistic approach to sexual dysfunctions, with extensive experience in sexual therapy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, regenerative therapies, and genital aesthetics. Having worked in high-volume clinical centers, he has gained surgical experience with thousands of cases. Alongside surgical treatments, he has been developing and implementing non-surgical treatment options for many years.

He is particularly focused on holistic solutions for conditions like chronic pelvic pain, with an emphasis on pelvic floor rehabilitation.

Dr. Topbaş is an active member of:

• European Association of Urology (EAU)
• International Pelvic Pain Society (IPPS)

He has authored and co-authored several scientific articles, book chapters, and medical translations, published in both national and international journals.

A licensed diver and underwater photographer, Dr. Topbaş is a member of the Ankara Underwater and Lifesaving Sports Club. He is also a certified yoga and pelvic floor instructor.
He speaks English and German fluently and is a father of two.

He continues to perform his interactive stage show titled "Fenasın Tenasül", which explores sexuality through a scientific and evidence-based lens. The show has been staged in Ankara and many other cities across Turkey.
